The Zaha Hadid exhibition will be held in November 2006 in collaboration with Established and Sons, London. This exhibition, to be held at the Phillips headquarters in New York, will feature a new series of designs using innovative materials and exploring the possibilities of living systems and the environment. Throughout her career Zaha Hadid has consistently pushed the boundaries of architecture and urban design and experimented with spatial concepts. Her work encompasses all fields of design ranging from urban scale to products, interiors and furniture. Best known for her seminal built works (Vitra Fire Station, Land Formation-One, Bergisel Ski Jump, Strasbourg Tram Station and Rosenthal Centre for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati) her central concerns involve a simultaneous engagement in practice, teaching and research. She has claimed many prestigious architectural awards for her work in Europe, Asia and America including Laureate of the Pritzker Prize in 2004. Her furniture and interiors include the Bitar, London, Moonsoon Restaurant, Sapporo, Z-Play and Z-Scape furniture manufactured by Sawaya and Moroni, the Tea and Coffee Towers for Alessi and the Aqua Table produced by Established & Sons.
