Wolfram Koeppe

Wolfram Koeppe (b. 1962) is art historian and expert in historical furniture. He has been the Marina Kellen French Curator in the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since 2011. After completing his PhD in law and art history, in Giessen and Munich, he became an assistant curator for research at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in 1991; he joined The Met as a senior research assistant in 1992.
