press release

Fishbone, famed for installing 30,000 bananas in Trafalgar Square in 2004, investigates and utilzes the language of mass media in order to re-evaluate its usefulness in contemporary culture. The artist gives his performance The World According To Me, a labyrinthine journey through history, philosophy, current politics and sexual mores. Contains images of graphic and sexual content.

Cummings and Lewandowska present their film Broadcast Times with live musical accompaniment by Ben and Eileen Simpson. The music, which has been mainly sourced from early 20th Century 78rpm records will be manipulated in real-time using samplers and DJ turntables.

This event takes place at the A Bond Warehouse Smeaton Road, Cumberland Basin, Bristol, BS1 6EE
