The Otolith Group's first exhibition in a French institution will present their curatorial work aroundL'Héritage de la Chouette ('The Owl's Legacy'), the television series directed by French film director Chris Marker and commissioned by ARTE in 1987. The exhibition will be complemented by screenings of the Otolith Group's own work and by a set of events with the Group. These include a session of the Communism's Afterlives seminar curated by Nataša Petrešin-Bachelez and Elena Sorokina, and the launch of issue 105 of the journal Third Text, entitled The Militant Image: a Cine-geography and guest edited by Kodwo Eshun and Ros Gray. The latter event will take place at musée du quai Branly.
