Simply Droog

Droog Design was founded in 1993 in the Netherlands, by Renny Ramakers and Gijs Bakker. The agency, which is a real laboratory for ideas and experiments open to commerce and industrial production, represents a state of mind that unites the utilitarian and fantasy through “reappropriation”, recycling and the transformation of the existing. To date, Droog Design has realized some 180 objects, developed by more than 100 designers. They range from lightings, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms and day-to-day accessories. The visitors are invited to enter the universe of “genetically modified products” from Droog Design. Some of the products will be for sale in a specially created “Droog Supermarket”.
