Rapedius / Rindfleisch operate with a variety of media. Their work is characterized by a precise material sensitivity and ingenuity.

Objects of everyday life such as paper cups, coffee whitener lids, plastic foil, barrier tape etc. often serve as the material basis or source of inspiration in their work. They treat, manipulate and use these materials thus transfering them into art objects, and shifting their meanings. They explore the different possibilities of these materials and techniques. Their work often operates in a conflicting context of seriousness and pleasure. Through the application of techniques such as working in series, the artists seem to appropriate fragments of the minimal and concept art of the seventies. However, in their work artistic references are often only valid, if they transfer themselves also on the participatory ability of the viewer/spectator. Another important aspect for them is the occupation with the space in which art is shown, the analysis of its meaning and its spatial presence. They exhibit both in articulated premises, and in the virtual organization of the book "show over" or the work "360°" for an advertising pillar.
