Richard Rezac

Combining reduced forms in opposition to and in harmony with one another, Rezac's works convey a sense of necessary completion and complicated balance. This exhibition showcases 13 new sculptures and related drawings by the nationally renowned, Chicago-based contemporary artist who recently received a Joan Mitchell Artist Fellowship. This exhibition is the third in an ongoing series of contemporary art exhibitions organized by Bruce Guenther, Chief Curator and Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and sponsored by the Miller Meigs Endowment for the Contemporary Arts.
