Richard Aldrich was born in 1975 in Hampton, Virginia. Recent exhibitions include San Francisco Museum of Modern Art curated by Gary Garrels, 'Richard Aldrich and the 19th Century French Painting', a solo presentation at Contemporary Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri (2011); 'Rational Abstraction' at Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea in Santiago de Compostela, Spain (2011); 'Time Again” at the Sculpture Center in New York (2011); and the 2010 Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York. The artist lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
