Rossetti, Millais and Hunt formed the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and were successful in the mid-19th century. At that time Liverpool was the most thriving port in England because of various industries including shipbuilding and exporting industrial products. National Museums Liverpool is a group of museums and galleries including three museums in and around Liverpool, and it is known worldwide for its collection of masterpieces of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.

This exhibition introduces approximately 70 pieces of watercolor and oil paintings of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and its followers from the collection of National Museums Liverpool in order to highlight the "Britishness" of modern British art with the keyword "British Dreams".
