The Biannual event, Month of Photography was first introduced in Paris, in 1980, by Jean-Luc Monterosso Today the director of the Maison de la photographie, Paris- with the aim to present works by international artists expressing themselves through photography. The concept was brought to Thailand in 2001 by Phillippe Laleu, Director of Alliance Francaise International Art Centre, Bangkok

The "Month of Photography 2" exhibition is traveling throughout Asia with stopovers in Bangkok, Seoul and Singapore, Under the set title of "Pop Culture". However, owing to the variety of culture and social contexts, interpretation is however open for all kinds of views. In Bangkok, the event divides into two parts. One is the exhibition curated by Agnes de Gouvion-Saint-Cyr at Tadu Contemporay and the second part will be shown at 10 venues in Bangkok, 100 Tonson Gallery exhibits the work of French Female Artist "ORLAN" in the form of 2-screen vidio presentation.
