An outstanding, ambitious artistic encounter, each year MONUMENTA invites a leading international contemporary artist to create an exhibition of exceptional new works for the 13,500 m2 of the Grand Palais Nave.
For its third year, MONUMENTA has invited Christian Boltanski, narrator and chronicler of the personal and individual memories of Man.
Succeeding Anselm Kiefer and Richard Serra, with Personnes Christian Boltanski closes the first MONUMENTA cycle by offering the public an exceptionally rich and sensitive experience, for five weeks.
Mediated learning specialists, a website, learning activities, and cultural programming are available to meet the needs and expectations of all publics.
