Mick Peters, Karla Black, Michael Stumpf

Karla Black, Mick Peter and Michael Stumpf are young Glasgow based artists who work directly upon a range of materials to produce unsettling objects and situations. Their occasionally bizarre sculptural forms may often appear bewildering and nonsensical, but they tend to produce an immediate if inexplicable response within the viewer. In placing their work alongside film and video pieces by some of their historical predecessors, this exhibition invites us to rediscover some of the primal relationships between self and object.
