Jiri David

A selection from the multi-faceted artistic productions of Jiří David (1956), head of the studio of conceptual and intermedial creation at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, displays his outstanding photographic series. The artist uses photography for realising his conceptual projects. In line with the post-modernist spirit, he changes visual media in accordance with the character of issues that just inspire him. Manipulating photographic positives and negatives, he creates staged thematic series. Exhibition curators: Martin Dostál and Radek Horáček.
