Contemporary Photography from North-West Europe

Fondazione Fotografia Modena / Foro Boario, Modena

From September 18, 2015 until January 10, 2016 the Modena Foro Boario will host an exhibition of new acquisitions from North-West Europe: 80 works recently added to the collection of contemporary photography handled by the Fondazione Fotografia and never exhibited before. Featuring 18 artists, from Wolfgang Tillmans to Jonny Briggs, the exhibition will show a glimpse of new photography in the area embracing Germany, Great Britain and Skandinavia, which is a lively and stimulating set for contemporary artists.

Core of the exhibition will be an important tribute to Norwegian photographer Tom Sandberg (1953 – 2014), whose works are meant to dialogue with those of other European artists on display. The whole installation is organized by Filippo Maggia, Director of Fondazione Fotografia Modena.
