LOUD & CLEAR is produced by Bifrons Foundation, Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead (UK).

This year, a new collaboration is being inaugurated with BOMBAY SAPPHIRE by BACARDI HELLAS, which becomes the fair’s main sponsor. This co-operation is aiming to establish a new program for the endowment of an art work, from the ones exhibited in art athina, to the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST), as a channel of communication between art, state institutions and the private initiative. In the same context, Greek collectors will also be sponsoring the acquisition of another art work for the same purposes.

D44 is a new project within the framework of art athina, that extends an open discussion with the fair’s visitors and through a questionnaire will form a pilot program of public participation data, as it might occur in alternative contexts or adopted methods of criticism.

art athina is to be materialized from May 21 – May 24, 2005, at the premises of the HELEXPO Exhibition Centre, while the preview is scheduled for May 20th.
