From June 13 to June 16, 2013, Art Basel, the world's premier international art show for modern and contemporary works, will feature over 300 leading galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. More than 2,500 artists, ranging from the great masters of Modern art to the latest generation of emerging stars, are represented in the show's multiple sectors.

Art Basel is currently accepting applications to four sectors: Art Galleries, Art Edition, Art Statements and Art Feature. Galleries for each sector will be selected by the show's Selection Committee.

Art Galleries is the main exhibition sector of Art Basel, where leading art galleries for modern and contemporary art display 20th- and 21st-century artworks. The galleries in the sector apply with their overall program, while also outlining their booth concept for the show.

Art Edition is the sector for leading publishers of editioned works, prints and multiples.

Art Statements is for galleries presenting young artists with one-person projects.

Art Feature focuses on precisely curated projects, such as a presentation by a single artist, exceptional art-historical material, and exhibitions presenting multiple artists within a curatorial concept.
