press release

One of the most important reportage photographers of her time, Anna Riwkin (1908-1970) documented contemporary life in Sweden and abroad. Many famous Swedes were captured by her frank and perfectly-timed camera lens. Her collaboration with Astrid Lindgren brought her out into the world, with a project to create books for Swedish school children about the children of other nations. A large portion of Anna Riwkin's production has been incorporated in the Museum's photographical collection. Pressetext
