Internationale Situationniste (The Situationist International (SI), SI Situationistische Internationale), founded in 1957 in Cosio d'Arroscia near Monaco, was a group of artists and intellectuals known particularly as the impulse-maker of the Paris May 68 and existed until 1972. The group was a coalition of Asger Jorn's 'Mouvement pour un Bauhaus Imaginiste', the 'Psychogeographical Society', founded by Ralph Rumney in London and the 'Lettrist International', with the goal of creating an organization that eliminates the division between art and life.
