Malcolm Morley (b.1931, London, d. 2018, New York) was a painter and founder of photorealism. In 1984, he was the inaugural winner of the Turner Prize. In 1972 and 1977, he participated at documenta 5 and 6 in Kassel. Morley studied at the Camberwell College of Arts and the Royal College of Art.
