Jasmina Metwaly (b. 1982, Warsaw, Poland) currently living in Berlin and Cairo, is an artist, filmmaker and activist. She studied painting at the University of the Arts in Poznań and is a co-founder of the Egyptian media collective Mosireen. Since 2010 she has also worked regularly with Philip Rizk (b. 1982, Limassol, Cyprus) on joint art projects. In 2015 both took part in the Venice Biennale.
