Janis Rafa

Janis Rafa (Janis Rafailido, geb. 1984, Athen, Griechenland) lives and works in Amsterdam and Athens. She uses films and sculptures to create pictorial narratives. Janis Rafa participated at the 56th Venice Biennale (collateral event, 2015), International Film Festival Rotterdam (2015), and Thessaloniki Biennial (2009). She studied Fine Art at the University of Leeds and she was a resident at the Rijksakademie Amsterdam.
