Grace Hartigan (b. 1922, Newark / NJ, d. 2008, Baltimore / Maryland,) was a painter of Abstract Expressionism. She was friends with Jackson Pollock, Helen Frankenthaler, Elaine de Kooning and Willem de Kooning. In 1959 she participated at the documenta 2 in Kassel.
