Ernesto Neto (born 1964 in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil) uses textiles for his expansive biomorphic installations. The objects mostly hang down from the ceiling and are tensioned by ballast from spices, sand or gypsum. In his installations, Ernesto Neto continues the tradition of Brazilian modernism: Visitors are invited to enter the installations to interact.
