Thomas Neumann. Landscape and Memory
The Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music Satellite Gallery SA-KURA is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by Thomas Neumann entitled "Landscape and Memory".
Thomas Neumann studied at Becher and his wife's class at the Dusseldorf Art Academy, which has produced many contemporary German photographers, and graduated with the title of Meisterschuler from Professor Thomas Ruf.
Neumann is well versed in Japanese culture, and his work is based on the theme of "landscape and memory," and he continues to question the possibilities of photographic expression. This exhibition is a collection of his works created since 2002, and we hope you will enjoy the various fragments of his work. On the last day of the exhibition, Sunday, August 1, a talk show will be held with Mr. Kou Kobayashi, curator of the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art.
