Judit Kurtag

Judit Kurtág (Amsterdam) was born in Budapest in 1975. She has staged a number of exhibitions of her photos and video works in France, Germany and Holland, where she is presently a guest of the residence programme of the Royal Academy of Fine Art. This exhibition presents her video installations, among them her 2004 work Une Grammaire de Temps in which she photographs the face and hands of her grandmother, Márta Kurtág, with music by her father, György Kurtág Jr. as well as her work Meet me (t)here which investigates the nature of memory and time with the help of photography and music.
