Frieze New York 2018
03.05.2018 - 06.05.2018

Frieze New York returns from May 3–6, 2018. Featuring more than 190 galleries from 30 countries, showcasing an extraordinary cross-section of work by international artists, from newly discovered talents to the most influential figures of the 20th century.

We're excited to announce the winner of the Frieze Artist Award, Kapwani Kiwanga who will realise an open-air installation. The Paris-based artist will create an imposing, interactive structure using Shade Cloth, chosen for its links to colonial appropriation and environmental manipulation. The Frieze Artist Award is supported by the Luma Foundation.

More highlights include a brand new section called For Your Infotainment / Hudson, curated by Matthew Higgs. Andrew Bonacina (The Hepworth) and Laura McLean-Ferris (Swiss Institute) will oversee ambitious solo presentations by today’s most exciting emerging artists in Frame, while Toby Kamps (Blaffer Art Museum, University of Houston) will showcase visionaries of the 20th century in Spotlight.
