Eva Maria Salvador - KÖPFE

Swiss artist Eva Maria Salvador exhibits a selection of photographs and paintings from her on going project „Köpfe“ (Heads) at ACUD Projektraum. This project spans sculpture, photography, and painting. "I make sculptures of heads, photograph them and then rework the photographs with sculptural materials. I photograph a finished sculpture, utilizing techniques which I borrow from portrait and advertising photography. After photographing, I deconstruct the sculptures into fragments, reintegrate pieces of them into new sculptures or overlay photographs with them. The sculptures only exist as photo-sculptures."
