Wilfredo Prieto Garcia (born 1978 in Zaza del Medio / Cuba) lives in Spain and in Havana/Cuba. He studied at the Higher Institute of Visual Art, La Habana and was a John Simon Guggenheim Fellow in New York. He participated at the Venice Biennale in 2007 and 2011.
