Paul Delvaux (b. 1897, Antheit, Belgium; d. 1994 Veurne, Belgium) was a painter, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and joined the Surrealistic movement in 1937. In 1938 his works were shown at Galerie des Beaux-Arts, Paris in the "Exposition internationale du surréalisme", which was organized by André Breton und Paul Elouard. In 1959 he participated at documenta 2 in Kassel.
