Jusepe de Ribera (José de Ribera, Lo Spagnoletto, b. 1591, Jativa / Spain, d. 1652, Naples / Italy) was a painter of the Baroque and the Neapolitan school. He mainly worked in Naples / Italy and he had great influence on the Spanish Baroque. Famous works are "The Immaculate Conception of Mary", 1635; "Apollo and Marsyas", 1637; "The Clubfoot", 1642.
