Dmitry Prigov (born 1940, Moscow, d., 2007, Moscow) was a writer and artist, who co-founded the Russian conceptualism. He has been at the center of non-conformist art movements since the early 1970s, alongside Ilya Kabakov, Erik Bulatov, Komar and Melamid and others. Dmitry Prigov studied at the Moscow State Stroganov University of Arts and Industry.
